With the advent of 2020, China’s prefabricated building industry entered the next high-speed development stage, with a market doubling from 2020 to 2025.
2023: THE TURNING POINT FOR CHINA’S PREFABRICATED BUILDING INDUSTRY

In 2017, the Chinese government stated that by 2020, the national percentage of prefabricated building areas in new buildings should reach at least 15%.
So far, 31 provinces and municipalities have made their own development plans, 26 of which have even launched incentive programs.
Jing-jin-ji, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta, are key development areas, striving for a 30% share for prefabricated buildings in new building areas by 2020.
